This is the only place I go and recommend that others go! Erica Ray owns the business and is the best hair stylist :) She recently moved from the mall where Freshie's is located into the Push Fitness building and changed her business name. It is now much more than just a hair salon, they offer all nail services as well. Women's cuts are $35 and men's are $25 but she sometimes has a deal for first timers!!! There are many hair stylists located here in her shop, I am just partial to Erica as she has been cutting my fine, baby soft, thin hair for close to ten years!!!
My daughter and I spent a nice girl- day-out and got a fabulous manicure and pedicure from Francesca. She was great with my daughter and very patient. The salon has a great comfortable atmosphere and the pedi chairs offer a nice massage.
I came to lake tahoe to elope with my husband, and wanted to book a last minute up do since it was humid and stormy. Being in the beauty industry I am pretty picky, and I loved Erica's skills! She was so amazing and she even had time to fit a hair cut and style for my man! We really enjoyed her and would highly recommend her to everyone!
I have been looking for a go-to nail salon in Tahoe since January and I have found it! Francesca is the nail tech at A New Day and she has 25+ years of experience at her profession. The spa is decorated in earth tones and soft colors and furnished with the most beautiful pedicure chairs I've ever seen. The owner was nice enough to do a brow/facial wax (I didn't have an appointment but she fit me in anyway) that was outstanding. I highly recommend this spa because it's clean, the people are super friendly and provide excellent service.
