The staff at About Faces Day Spa in Canton are always friendly, polite and relaxing. The spa is clean and well kept. I have seen Chelsea twice for a European Facial. She makes sure I'm comfortable and aware of everything she does during my facial. I love coming back and can't wait to try other services.
Ashleigh is a phenomenal stylist. Her experience and knowledge of color and highlights, color corrections, transitions from one color to another, and the latest color and style trends, is that of a seasoned professional in the field. She does hair extensions as well! I actually travel from Virginia which is about 1 1/2 hours one way. I feel she is well worth the commute. Ashleigh is excellent at blowouts and styling as well. I always leave there feeling like a million bucks. She gives great tips for hair care as well. The salon is very nice and well kept, creating a relaxing and pampering environment.
This is a hidden gem: full service salon and day spa all rolled into one, conveniently located in the heart of Canton (convenient if you are a city dweller, that is), and without the high city price tag. A definite winner for both my time and my pocketbook. So far I have indulged myself with a facial, wax, massage, nails and hair color. Everyone has been kind, helpful, professional, and good at their jobs. I hate to admit it but I am rather picky when it comes to my hair, nails, etc. I was thrilled that everyone who worked with me took the time to make sure that I was satisfied. And this began with the front desk staff, who helped to meet my tough scheduling demands with ease. Also of note, the staff is not pushy on selling you a million products before you walk out the door. It's a small thing, but something I appreciate. Once someone tries to sell me their entire line of products I kind of lose faith that their opinions are really related to what I would get good use out of. I think I've found my new oasis. Clean, good service, convenient location, and won't break-the-bank. On top of all of that, it doesn't take 3 weeks to get an appointment. I actually walked in for my first service. If you want to get a manicure where you walk out looking like your 5 year old daughter did your nails, then this is the place for you! Sloppy polish job by a woman who couldn't even file your nails straight. Nail tech walked half way to put money in the meter and left me with a nasty towel wrapped around my hands that smelled like it hadn't been washed in weeks! Unsanitary place that probably needs to be reported to the health department.
